How SmartTrack works
Connect site devices
All cameras and radars covering the site or a specific site area are connected to one or more PTZ cameras. AXIS Object Analytics detections and SmartTrack settings automatically direct the assigned PTZ camera to the target.
AutoTrack
The PTZ camera automatically follows the detected object, so the operator does not need to use a joystick. During a virtual guard tour, the operator controls the PTZ camera directly from the site map using the mouse.
Web interface
The SmartTrack web interface provides direct integration with AXIS Camera Station, giving operators access to the site map, live video and PTZ camera control from one interface.
Map-based PTZ control
Control PTZ cameras directly from the site map and direct them to real-world positions.
Automatic target following
SmartTrack continuously updates the PTZ position based on detected object movement.
Works with existing Axis devices
